I’m Emma, a 24-year-old retired figure skater, currently diving into the world of full-time sales while managing a vibrant team. Oh, and I’m also a dedicated wife, navigating the balancing act of life and striving to savor every moment of it.
Welcome to Herty, a space dear to my heart named after my Uncle Josh (Herty, a nickname derived from his last name, Hertweck). He was the youngest uncle in our family and undoubtedly the most fun-loving soul around. His magnetic charm drew love and laughter from everyone he touched. Sadly, he left us unexpectedly at the age of 31.
At the end, we are all just stories, so make it a good one.
He loved art, food, good stories and his family. At my Papa’s funeral just a short 8 months before his, he took the stage to reflect on the legacy our Papa left behind. He talked about how at the end, we are all just stories, so make it a good one. I’ll never forget it or him.
